Rather it is a true recompense for financing maintenance, administration and acquisition of health installations. The visitor's tax facilitates the often unrecognised implicitnesses which let you enjoy your holidays as best as possible.
Tendance, cleaning and maintenance of beach installations, public facilities, hiking trails and bicycle tracks as well as the water emergency services are financed by your visitor's tax. Furthermore the tax contains free service features of the touristic administration office like entrance to the library at the "Haus des Gastes" and attendance to diverse events and festivals.
Having the visitor's card, you benefit from discounts on events and exhibitions, not just in Dierhagen, but on the whole peninsula and in Graal-Müritz. Additionally to the visitor's card our guests receive a parking card for their proper cars which enable them to park for free on municipal parking sites in Dierhagen. On municipal parking areas in the communities between Wustrow and Wieck our visitors can, thanks to the parking card of Dierhagen, acquire day parking tickets at half price.

- The discount is valid for pupils, students and disabled people; children and adolescent people up to the completion of the 16th year of birth are exempted from the tax
- Annual visitor's tax tickets are linked to annual parking tickets and amount to 42 €/person; this corresponds with the 21-fold daily rate of season A without further discounts
- Dogs are year-round charged with 1.00 €/day
