Rund um die Ortschaft Dierhagen und quer auf dem Darß verteilt liegen wunderschöne, kleine und auch größere Orte, die alle für sich sehr speziell und doch so indivudell für sich sind. Jeder dieser Ortschaften ist einen Besuch wert und wartet nur darauf aus neuen Blickwinkeln betrachtet und entdeckt zu werden.

Worth visiting is, amongst others, the German amber museum in the Poor Clares abbey. Besides enchanting incluses and amber artwork of the 16th and 17th century it offers modern amber adornments.

Ribnitz-Damgarten

The amber town Ribnitz-Damgarten is situated in between the Hanseatic cities of Rostock and Stralsund, along the south bank of the Baltic Sea linked inner bay chain. Ribnitz-Damgarten is the entrance to our scenic coastal region.

When in May and June more than 200 bushes flourish, the park gleams and smells in all colours and flavours of the plants.

Graal-Müritz

The Baltic spa resort Graal-Müritz is one of the most scenic places at the Baltic Sea coast in Mecklenburg. Here, where forest and sea encounter, visitors and spa patients find relaxation year-round.

Ahrenshoop

The Baltic resort Ahrenshoop, a former remote sailor's and fishermen's village, first emerged with the development of the paint artist's community.

Through the lusty Darß forest you get to the lighthouse Darßer Ort and the ruggedly picturesque Weststrand, where unresisted natural forces can be experienced imposingly.

Prerow

The 5 km long and up to 100 m wide sandy beach of the Baltic resort is one of the most beautiful beaches at the German Baltic Sea coast. The beach is stoneless, little windy and child-friendly and offers a really relaxing swimming and bathing pleasure.

With trumpet shouts cranes fly over the inner bay landscape in spring and autumn. In doing so they build elegant formations.

Zingst

The Baltic spa resort Zingst is the eastern community on the scenic peninsula Fischland-Darß-Zingst and lies imbedded between Baltic Sea and inner bay amongst the national park "Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft".
