Mushroom and nature museum in Neuheide
The private exhibition contains approximately 250 mushroom species in their habitat, about 2,000 species of the worldwide most beautiful butterflies and approximately 200 preparations of domestic birds and mammalians.

Solely their flavours indicate, that mushrooms are real chemical plants. In the forest they take, amongst others, a holding in the degradation process of matured timber. |
Further specialities are the observation of the emergence of a hornet work, a live video from a little owl nursery and demonstration taxidermy (Tuesday to Friday during summer). Highlight of the year is a large mushroom exhibition at the harvest weekend. Parking is available.
